Connection Detail

For new build applications the pile needs to be embedded into the new concrete by 300mm to transfer the load. Typical new build details are shown in the Standard Details Manual.

An appropriate connection detail for remedial applications can only be selected if the foundation detail is known. If a trial pit has not been excavated the foundation detail will need to be assumed and then reviewed on site. Typical remedial details are shown in the Standard Details Manual.
