Thor Helical Remedials Approved Installers are recieving a boost through the new website.
Leads generated from the new website, launched in June 2010 are being passed through to Approved Installers based on the areas they have indicated they work in, and relevant to the repairs they are approved to carry out.
Thor Helical Remedial Approved Installer, Broadoak Preservation, were recently forwarded an enquiry for a large detached property in its own grounds of brick and slate construction in Brigg, East Yorkshire. The property had cracking of the brickwork and internal plaster at the top rear right hand corner above and below the window and on both elevation wallsBroadoak decided to wrap around the corner and across the cracking at 450mm maximum spacing vertically and also install wall ties from the inside at this corner. The brickwork is approx 13" but there could be a small cavity between the outer 9" and the 4 and 1/2" inner leaf. The inner will then be replastered using lime mortar and the cracks slate packed and repointed to match the existing mortar joints.
Brian Pennington of Broadoak said " We have found it to be very good for us and are grateful for the opportunities the new system provides."
