The tower block is owned and managed by Salix Homes and is located in Salford Manchester. Salix Homes manages around 10,500 council-owned properties across Central Salford and the Beechfarm and Rainsough Brow estates.

The problem

The tower block was in need of major renovation works which included installation of remedial cavity wall ties and renewal of brick slips at the wall floor junctions. Remedial Restoration Ltd were appointed to carry out this work by the main contractor, Bramhall Construction.

Placing brick slips using Thor W60 Flexi Grout to bond

The solution

Remedial Restorations Ltd, a Thor Helical Remedial Approved Contractor chose Thor Helical Drive Ties to install as the remedial cavity wall ties on the project.

Brick slips were bonded using THOR W60 FLEXI GROUT
